An Instafill alternative. AI form filling that stays on your Mac.

Instafill fills PDF forms from your documents with AI, in your browser. Your files go to its cloud, and its AI runs on models managed by OpenAI. Plans are sized by documents filled, from $99 a month for 50, or $79 a month billed yearly. Fyllyo also fills forms from your documents, but the AI runs on your Mac and nothing is uploaded. It’s $99 once.

Every PDF tool free, with no account · AI form filling $99 once, no subscription · Apple silicon, macOS 13 or later

Fyllyo on a Mac with “Runs on this computer · nothing is uploaded” in the top bar: Form 1040-X filled for a test client, each answer beside the line in the client’s document it came from.

The short answer

Choose Fyllyo if

  • You fill forms from client documents and don’t want them uploaded. Fyllyo Paid reads your documents and fills the form’s fields on your Mac, and leaves a field blank with the reason when it isn’t sure.
  • You want to pay once. Instafill’s plans are monthly, sized by how many documents you fill.
  • You want every PDF tool free as well: redaction, certificate signing, text editing and XFA forms.
  • You work offline. Once a form is set up, Fyllyo fills it with no internet.

Choose Instafill if

  • You use Windows or a browser on any computer. Fyllyo runs only on Macs with Apple silicon.
  • You fill the same form for many people from a spreadsheet. Instafill fills in batches.
  • You need flat or scanned forms turned into fillable ones automatically.
  • Your team needs shared workspaces, an API, Salesforce or a large ready-made form catalog.

Questions

Does Instafill upload my documents?

Yes. Instafill says your files go to Microsoft Azure, in its San Antonio, Texas data center by default, and its AI runs on models managed by OpenAI. It also says uploaded files are deleted after processing, temporary data within 2 business days, and that customer data isn’t used to train AI. Fyllyo fills forms on your Mac, so your documents are never uploaded.

Is there an Instafill app for Mac?

We couldn’t find one. Instafill runs in the browser and has a Windows app and Chrome and Edge extensions. Fyllyo is a Mac app.

Which costs less?

It depends on how much you fill. Instafill’s self-service plan is $99 a month for 50 documents, or $79 a month billed yearly. AI form filling is $99 once. That buys a lifetime licence for one Mac at a time, with free updates and a 5-day free trial. Filling more forms never costs more. The one other charge is for setting up a form of your own. Credits cost $1 per 100, starting at $10, and never expire. Or you can use your own AI key. Setup sends the blank form and its instructions, never your documents. But price isn’t everything. Instafill fills in batches from spreadsheets, turns flat forms into fillable ones and works on any computer. Fyllyo doesn’t do those yet.
