How to do it in Fyllyo
Open the PDF
Drop it on Fyllyo’s Home screen, or choose Open.
Choose Tools, then Find and redact…
Pick the kinds of personal details to find, or type names and phrases, one per line. Then choose Find.
Mark and check the matches
Untick any match you want to keep, then choose Mark for redaction. Review marks shows each one on the page before anything is removed.
Redact all, then save a copy
Choose Redact All. If the words also appear in comments, fields or the document details, choose Remove it there too. Then Save redacted copy… Your original stays exactly as it was.

Yes. The Redact tab lets you mark an area or a piece of text on the page yourself, then redact it. The check for the same words elsewhere in the file covers words you found with Find and redact.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Redaction happens on your Mac, and your files are never sent anywhere.
