How local AI fills PDF forms from your documents

Start with the form and its supporting documents

Choose a built-in template, such as USCIS I-864 or IRS 1040-X, and add the client’s PDFs, scans, photos, Word files, or typed notes. Keep each client’s files together so the source material is easy to check.

The output form must be supported by a template. You can also set up your own blank fillable PDF; a scanned image of a blank form is not the same as a fillable PDF.

Let AI interpret the information and code handle the maths

A form may ask for annual income when a document gives monthly pay, or distinguish between an applicant and a sponsor. Fyllyo reads the documents, maps facts to the right fields, and calculates or formats values as needed.

For example, a monthly salary of $5,700 can become an annual figure of $68,400. The calculation is straightforward; checking that the pay figure belongs to the right person and period still matters.

Review the mapping, not a pile of files

Fyllyo shows filled values with their source lines and highlights the corresponding fields in the PDF. Review key facts such as names, ID numbers, and income, check flagged gaps, and correct answers before saving.

AI output still needs human review. Pay particular attention to conflicting documents, unclear scans, dates, and financial figures. Check the first few results from a newly added form carefully.

Understand the local and cloud boundary

Client documents and form filling stay on your computer. Once the local model and template are set up, filling works offline.

Adding a custom template is a separate setup step: Fyllyo Cloud processes only the blank form and your instructions. Do not include client data in either. No API key is required; using your own provider key is optional. After setup, the template runs locally with your client documents.

Local processing does not replace device security. Protect your computer, control access to saved PDFs, and consider where your backup or sync tools send those files. Read how Fyllyo handles data.

Prepare your Mac once

Fyllyo requires an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later). About 16 GB of memory is recommended, with about 8 GB of free disk space. The local model downloads once and is about 5 GB.

Save a PDF you have checked

Edits save into the PDF. The result is a completed document for your next step—not automatic e-filing, legal advice, or tax advice. Confirm the form version, required signatures, and submission requirements before using it.
